How Does Uber Eats Work?
Uber Eats is a ride shared base food delivery service.
Similar to Uber Rides, Uber Eats lets consumers order food from their smart phone using the Uber Eats app, and then have food arrive within a matter of minutes.
Using the Uber Eats app, you are able to choose from hundreds of nearby restaurants, bars, food trucks, and everything in between.
When an order is placed, the restaurant will confirm the order, and then assign a nearby Uber Eats driver to pick up and deliver the order.
For every step of the process you will receive a push notification indicating the restaurant confirmed the order, the Uber Eats order was picked up, and that the Uber Eats driver was arriving.
Uber Eats is the cheapest food delivery option, as there is simply a flat delivery fee of $3.99.
Similar to Uber Eats, there is no tipping with Uber Eats, and unlike other food delivery services (DoorDash, Favor, Mr. Delivery), there is no service fee.
